Reynolds Jury Architecture offer a complete architectural service, from external landscaping to interior design, working closely with local authorities and planning consultants in order to deliver schemes that are tailor-made to each project.
Most Clients arrive at a project with an idea of what they would like to achieve. The role of their Architect is then to interpret these ideas and develop them into a viable scheme. The goals of the Client will inform the Architect’s level of involvement. The service may be limited to Planning Permission or Building Regulations Approval; alternatively, the firm may direct the project through to completion. The Architect will advise on matters such as design, materials and construction, assessing the suitability of each to the specifics of the site and location. This part of the website aims to clarify some of the main aspects of a project, providing a better understanding of an Architect’s role.
All of Reynolds Jury’s schemes (including our offices above) have an underlying commitment to sustainability. Providing a green product is not
about ‘add-on technologies’ but about the fundamentals of minimal consumption by making the most of basic commodities like natural light, reuse rather than renewal, local rather than global and suitable orientation.
Appointing an Architect is a process that is unfamiliar to most, and Reynolds Jury assist in this by providing a free consultation that assesses the needs of the Client. Thus, we try to ensure that the Client receives the appropriate level of service from the outset.
